[ He lets out a soft chuckle and lays the menu down. ]
Does your university put on mock-trials?
“Mock-trials?”
She tilts her head.
“I actually heard about them in the university but… I’m not sure if I should participate. There are lots of essays I need to write.”
“But after I finish these…I might go sign up for a mock-trial.” 
[Miles chuckled softly at her reaction. He sincerely hoped that she was telling the truth. But then he decided to just give her the benefit of the doubt.]
Well, that is a relief to know, Miss Tuckson.
Sara sighed in relief.
( I really should start studying… )
“How about you, Mr. Edgeworth? Are you working on a case these days?”
She tilted her head.
I’m curious now. Maybe I’ll give it a try soon.
“Eh, I can take you to the amusement park someday! If you want, ofcourse.”
“W-W-WAIT. YOU DON’T LIKE AMUSEMENT PARKS!?”
What?! No!
I just meant, I never saw one. Or… where there. Of course I saw them, when I passed by. But that’s it.
“Well, then you should visit an amusement park during your little holiday! They are fun! And well um… I think you’ll like an amusement park.”
She nods at herself.
“Maybe.”
Oh, yeah. Well, I was on the way to another solar system, but I never got away from the Earth. Because, like I said, my TARDIS broke.
An amusement park…? I don’t think so.
“W-W-WAIT. YOU DON’T LIKE AMUSEMENT PARKS!?”
The energy-supply which allows me to switch between time and space broke. Because of that, the TARDIS landed here without me wanting it.
Really? That sounds great!
“E-eh… I see. Looks like I really can’t help with that. Without you wanting it? Where were you going, Doctor? Right, probably other..um planets?”
“Hm… Let’s see. Oh! Have you ever gone to an amusement park!?” 
( I probably said something stupid… Again. )
Sara nodded and smiled.
“Yay~! Um and… What are you planning to do here ‘till you get your…TARDIS repaired?”
( I think I’ll never get used to this… )Searching for the parts I have to replace at the TARDIS and exploring the surrounding.
That sure will be fun. I’m so looking forward to it!
“What kind of parts?”
She clapped hands.
“Oh, maybe I can help you to have fun in this city! There’s lots of things to do!” 
( I probably said something stupid… Again. )
Sara nodded and smiled.
“Yay~! Um and… What are you planning to do here ‘till you get your…TARDIS repaired?” 
( I think I’ll never get used to this… )
It’s fine, really.
[He chuckled, patting her head gently.]
There’s no need to feel sorry. So many times passed since then, I already got used to it.
She nodded slowly and looked up.
“I see…”
But she knew it wasn’t fine. Even if a lot of time has passed, this wasn’t a thing someone can forget or just say ‘It’s fine.’ At least that’s what she thought.
“But whenever you remember something like that… which makes you sad, just talk with your friends okay? Friends always make you feel better. And eh, I count as a friend, right?”
